Company: Qualcomm India Private Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Engineering General Summary: Role : Project Engineer for Android IOT Projects Key responsibilities: Lead and deliver driving large IOT projects based on Android Past experience in Android for embedded products Experience in driving multiple life cycles of the project end-to-end right from Software conceptualization for new chipsets to product commercialization with customers Hands-on tech experience in Embedded Systems. Proficiency in coding, design and implementation. Coding experience in C/C+, Android, Drivers/Frameworks, end-to-end software stack Work with large diversified engineering teams, product marketing and business teams Strong understanding of system architecture, kernel development, and device drivers. Strong exposure to chipset architecture and end-to-end system aspects from software perspective Past working experience in one or more of the areas – Multimedia, Linux, Core Platform, Ethernet Protocols, Power/Performance Hands on approach to understand intricate issues, debug and drive to closure Strong product view in terms of end-to-end life cycle from conceptualization to commercialization Requirements: Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, , Computer Science, or related field. Strong development experience with C/C++ and good programming skills. Strong communication skills and analytics skills Proven experience in Android Development Strong understanding of SOC systems and related concepts, including bring-up. Good know-how of Multimedia subsystems like Camera, Video, Audio, Display and Graphics. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Strong hands-on experience with troubleshooting software and system issues. Strong hands-on experience with full software development life cycle including design, implementation, deployment and support. Strong aptitude, quick learner, self-motivated, willing to explore and work across breadth of various technology areas. Deductive problem solving, good verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
