Every day, we are part of something bigger.   About the role EIC Activities is seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist and/or Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground Engineering team in Brisbane. This is a senior technical and leadership role where you will provide critical capability across major tenders and delivery projects, creating competitive advantage through technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation. You will leverage CIMIC Group’s collective experience, leading technologies, and global expertise to deliver value for our clients and communities. This is more than a technical position. It is an opportunity to: * Lead and mentor high‑performing geotechnical and ground engineering professionals * Influence design and construction strategies on major infrastructure projects * Partner with multidisciplinary leaders to solve complex ground engineering challenges * Manage projects where appointed as Project Manager, including client engagement and delivery performance * Collaborate with global experts and contribute to international best practice   Key Responsibilities * Provide technical authority and leadership across geotechnical and ground engineering scopes * Lead ground investigations, analysis, design development, and risk mitigation strategies * Act as a trusted advisor to project directors, clients, and stakeholders * Drive innovation, constructability, safety, and quality across major works * Support business growth through technical leadership, tender input, and thought leadership   About you You are a respected leader who brings people together, builds strong teams, and creates environments where ideas are valued and outcomes matter.
