Description
Role Responsibilities: Continuously develop productivity improvement and lower labor input while maintaining labor effectiveness. Monitor and master-listing the calibration of the measure/testing equipment/tools in Production. Suggest corrective measures & improve quality defects related to workmanship issues. Develop good work practice in employees and processes to achieve product quality without sacrificing output eg. Meeting daily target & Weekly production plan. Conduct classroom training on specific jobs application to shop floor workers. Lead Production department in achieving Cx, ISO & EH&S requirements. Work with leaders to prepare sufficient skill competent workers for line operations and maintain good line balancing (Work with Manufacturing & Quality side for workers' training on special processes). Monitor the SOE expenditures in Production Department. Monitor & co-ordinate for factory work orders requirements. Plan & approve leaves for workers. Refer to ANNEX attached for EH&S responsibilities. To lead/participate in company activities such as Cx, EH&S, Kaizen Events etc. To perform tasks, deem suitable and assigned by superiors. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Production / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent. Minimum 1~3 years relevant working experience & able to communicate with all levels of staffs. ANNEX TO JOB DESCRIPTION EH&S RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Insure new products, processes, equipment or chemicals are approved by EHS before implementation. 2. Provide technical support for identifying and mitigating risks, interpreting regulatory requirements, and implementing Carrier requirements. 3. Identify key EHS issues during planning and design of projects which require special precautions such as ventilation and wastewater. 4. Insure hazards identified in the risk assessment processes are mitigated as per the action plan. 5. Conserve natural resources in design and manufacture of products. 6. Communicate EHS issues to employees and maintain a high level of EHS awareness. 7. Issue disciplinary action occurs for violation of EHS rules and procedures.
