Ideal role for an experienced underground Production Engineer The Opportunity: You’ll be a key member of a diverse and experienced Underground Mining team at Granny Smith Gold Mine. Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for all mining aspects including the development and implementation of production plans in line with short to medium term planning targets. Ensure that stope designs and subsequent drill and blast plans maximise ore extraction and minimise dilution. Direct and lead all members of the technical and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication. What You’ll Bring: Have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent. Completion of Underground time Proven underground hard rock engineering experience, preferably gold, with exposure to all production phases including ventilation and experience in Drill and Blast, ideally Longhole Open Stoping and/or Inclined Room and Pillar methods.
