Responsibilities

This is a Permanent full-time position based on Barrow Island. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic [department/state] team delivering essential work to our client.
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and the team to achieve deliverables, aware of contractual obligations and maximise profitability.

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Perform on-site quality inspections of earthworks, concrete pours, structural installations, and other civil components.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, construction specifications, and material approvals to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure all construction documentation is up to date, including workpacks, as-built drawings, quality records, and project reports.
  • Liaise daily with the Construction Manager / Site Supervisors to ensure project programs are being met.
  • Assist in the RFI (Request for Information) process, ensuring design clarifications and updates are communicated effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to onsite safety and environmental control by ensuring compliance with Project Risk Analysis and JHAs.
  • Prepare site diaries, track progress against schedule activities, and liaise with the site planner to ensure earned progress and forecast dates are accurate in the 28 Day Lookahead Schedule.
