Engineer, Property Operations - Signia by Hilton Orlando and Waldorf Astoria Orlando
and the adjacent, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, an Official Walt Disney World® Hotels are searching for an Engineer to join their Property Operations team! Between the 2 properties combined, there are over 1,500 rooms, 12 restaurants and lounges and over 350,000 sq. feet of meeting and event space.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in a hotel setting with strong skills in plumbing, HVAC, and preventative maintenance, along with a background in customer service.
Shift Pattern: Full flexibility AM and PM shifts available.
Pay Rate: $21.42 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
  • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attentio
