Title: Engineer, Quality Reports to: Manager (Part Leader) Location: Lansing, MI LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium-ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com [http://www.lgenergymi.com/] Summary: This role drives continuous quality improvement by gathering and analyzing data, maintaining standards, proposing solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders, from operators to high-level management. Responsibilities: * Oversee all quality inspections, including activity of off shifts * Submit non-conformance reports if needed and follow up to ensure problems are corrected * Ensure accurate and standardized collection of data * Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and troubleshooting * Work independently and also in collaboration with others * Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure testing for changes in materials or dimensions occurs * Provide data as requested by other work related team include HQ * Track/monitoring SPC data of all inspections and drive future changes * Write and maintain work instructions * Train operators when any changes occur * Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: 1. Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain 2.
