Job Description Summary NDT Engineer responsible for executing and analyzing advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, with a focus on Phased Array and B-scan inspections at the Dabaspet factory. The role includes performing NDT measurements, reviewing and validating scan data from both factory and field operations, and supporting root cause analyses (RCAs) related to NDT findings. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of inspection results, directly contributing to product quality and operational excellence. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Perform NDT scanning using advanced techniques such as Phased Array and B-scan in line with established procedures. Review and interpret NDT data to identify product defects, anomalies, and compliance with acceptance criteria. Support in the implementation and validation of new or revised inspection/test techniques under guidance from senior engineers. Provide scan reviews and technical support for both in-factory and field inspection teams. Stay updated on evolving NDT technologies and apply relevant advancements in day-to-day operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Materials, Metallurgical, or related Engineering discipline. Formal training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods with certification (ASNT Level I/II) in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) / Phased Array. Additional coursework or specialization in composites, materials science, or quality engineering will be an advantage. Desired Characteristics Level I or Level II certification in NDT methods (UT/Phased Array) as per ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in composite NDT inspections, scanning, and data analysis (Phased Array, B-scan). Familiarity with defect characterization in composite structures and knowledge of aerospace/wind turbine blade inspection practices. Experience in interpreting and validating NDT data for quality assessments and reporting. Working knowledge of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) methods related to NDT findings. Proficiency in using NDT instruments, scanners, and associated data interpretation software. Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail and compliance.
