Description

Responsibilities : ISO Quality Management System (QMS) – Internal Auditing• Plan and conduct internal audits across all departments as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.• Prepare audit schedules, checklists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and audit closure reports.• Track and ensure timely closure of audit observations and NCRs with effective CAPA.• Coordinate with external certification bodies (e.g., Bureau Veritas, TUV, DNV) for surveillance and recertification audits.• Maintain ISO documentation – Quality Manual, SOPs, process maps, and records.• Train internal staff on QMS requirements and audit awareness. BIS Portal & BIS Certification Management• In-depth, hands-on management of the BIS Portal for all activities related to product certification under the Bureau of Indian Standards.• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of BIS licences – fresh applications, renewals, amendments, and closure – for all applicable cable products.• IS 1554, IS 7098, IS 9968, IS 14255, IS 694, IS 8130 and other cable standards.• Coordinate factory inspections, sampling, and testing as required by BIS and communicate with the BIS regional/zonal office.• Maintain BIS-controlled documentation – test reports, inspection reports, process records, and ISI mark usage records.• Handle BIS complaints, show-cause notices, and regulatory correspondence professionally.• Monitor BIS standard revisions and assess their impact on existing certified products; initiate product/process changes as required.• Maintain the BIS licence register and ensure timely renewal before expiry.• Liaise with the BIS officer during audits and provide data on production, testing, and conformance. Qualification - BE/BTech Technical: • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and implementation.• Expertise in Internal Quality Auditing and audit planning, execution, reporting, and closure. Functional: • Internal audit planning, execution, and reporting• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintenance• BIS licence management (application, renewal, amendment, and closure).• Documentation control and record management. Behavioural: • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System through internal auditing, documentation maintenance, and CAPA tracking. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of BIS certifications, including portal management, license renewals, and coordination of factory inspections.
