Description
Responsibilities - • Verification & Maintenance of applicable GTPs & in- process MDS, Discrepancies, if any, shall be addressed to design prior to relevant stage of manufacturing. • Monitor metal drawing, extrusion, stranding, armoring, and sheathing processes for adherence to standards. • Conduct in-process inspections as per the manufacturing data sheet, GTP and relevant standards. • Maintain traceability of items & product manufactured, data collection, interpretation, and analysis. • Analysis of non-conforming products at in-process stages of production and ensure effectiveness of corrective action, Green Channel Manufacturing, COPQ • Failure Analysis and its subsequent reduction. • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and maintain process capability indices. • Process Audit on Monthly basis. • IMS Documentation & Implementation w.r.t System Facilitation. • Selection of LT Cables type and size twice in a week for weight analysis purpose. Quad cable samples once in 15 days. • New Test Equipment Installation and Commissioning activity with OEM and Maintenance along with Officer-Lab. • Laisoning with customer on Quality feedback, Customer complaints, CAPA/external inspection agency for inspection of LT Cables.   Qualification : BE /B BTech   Technical: • Understanding of extrusion, conductor stranding, armouring, sheathing processes. • Testing proficiency: IR, HV, resistance, spark test, dimensional checks etc. • SPC, MSA, 7 QC tools (as applicable). • Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto). • Familiarity with compounds (PVC/XLPE/LSZH/PE) and their properties. • Calibration systems & traceability; hands-on with lab instruments. • Basic knowledge of EHS & 5S in testing labs and production areas.   Functional: • Ability to analyse test data and identify trends. • Strong RCA and CAPA implementation skills. • Ability to drive scrap reduction and process optimization. • ERP systems for production and quality tracking   Behavioral: • Strong attention to detail and ownership. • Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving. • Collaboration and effective cross-functional communication. • Customer orientation & responsiveness and Customer-centric approach. • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
