Carrapateena is a large, modern underground copper-gold operation and one of South Australia’s most significant mining developments in the past decade. Located approximately 160km north of Port Augusta on the traditional lands of the Kokatha people, Carrapateena combines cutting-edge mining methods with a strong focus on safety, innovation and performance.

We currently have a vacancy for a Reliability Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Senior Engineer – E&I and Control Systems.
As a Reliability Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, sustainable and reliable performance of electrical assets across Carrapateena’s fixed plant operations. Working as part of a collaborative Engineering and Maintenance team, you will apply your technical expertise to optimise asset performance, improve reliability outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and operational performance.
This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working closely with operational teams, and driving practical improvements in a dynamic mining environment. You will be empowered to identify opportunities, influence outcomes and support the delivery of engineering solutions that create long-term value for the operation.
