Description

Darktrace has more than 2,500 employees located globally. Founded by mathematicians and cyber defence experts in 2013, Darktrace is a global leader in cyber security AI, delivering complete AI-powered solutions in its mission to free the world of cyber disruption.
For over a decade, Darktrace has pioneered a proactive, AI-native approach to security. Our roots lie deep in innovation. The Darktrace AI Research Centre based in Cambridge, UK, has conducted research establishing new thresholds in cybersecurity, with technology innovations backed by over 200 patents and pending applications.
Today, Darktrace is a global leader in cybersecurity AI, delivering the essential cybersecurity platform to protect organisations today and for an ever-changing future.
As a Graduate Engineer, Security Architecture you will help secure the SaaS applications and critical PaaS and IaaS platforms used throughout our business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include configuration of application security baselines, auditing deployed applications for security compliance, collaborating with the development team to produce new Darktrace product detections, and automating security tool ingestion of application logs. You will work closely with the DevOps, IT, Security, and executive leaderships teams to ensure that we maintain the highest security standards. This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be configuring security controls within enterprise SaaS applications, as well as our CASB, SSPM, and CSPM solutions, writing scripts, and building automations that save time and secure the business.
This is an entry level position and would be based from either our London or Cambridge office. We offer hybrid working, with 2 days per week from either office.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED:

  • An understanding of general SaaS and PaaS security best practices and a working knowledge of any of the major cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Security understanding with common enterprise SaaS applications. (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, Hubspot, Azure, AWS, GCP, SalesLoft, etc.)
  • Basic experience developing and maintaining baseline security configurations with a specific focus on SaaS applications.
  • Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps best practices gained from academic or hands-on experience building in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise security tooling.
  • Professional certifications, relevant vendor training, or comparable education in cloud or SaaS platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, SalesForce).
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language and experience working with version control systems such as Gitlab or Github.
  • An intellectually curious team player with excellent communication, collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills.
