You will be part of a design team responsible for delivering practical electrical design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.Here’s what you’ll do:Carrying out Medium Voltage and Low Voltage design work to DNO StandardsMedium Voltage and Low Voltage network designDistribution Open and closed Ring and Radial feeder supply network solutionsMedium Voltage and Low Voltage Intake and Distribution Substation Layout designMedium Voltage and Low Voltage main primary plant and equipment designSecondary protection and control solution digesting equipment scheme circuit and wiring diagrams.Medium Voltage and Low Voltage cable sizing calculations, routing, section, and termination drawingsElectrical system, earthing grid design and modelling, and calculations for touch, step and transfer potentialSCADA System, Auxiliary supply and COP metering interface designsMedium Voltage and Low Voltage Local Standby and Back-up power supply – automatic & manual changeover solutionsWriting technical specification and supporting in the down selection and placing of equipment orders/ProcurementLiaising and collaborating with external suppliers and customers.Provide input into electrical system studies for Low voltage and Medium voltage network modelling and verificationArc-flash / Blast requirements and mitigation solutionsReview of design submissions within the team against client scopeBeing part of a design review process with Team Lead VerifierKnowledge and Understanding of Protection Setting co-ordination and gradingEnjoy the Perks.
