Company Description www.bosch-homecomfortgroup.com Job Description ACCOUNTABILITIES: Has to execute for all engineering aspects (on spec, on time, and on cost) of an assigned Controls project. Should be able to estimate product cost, project related development budget & tooling costs, and tracks & controls the cost and budget to meet the requirements Review features/functionality to ensure committed deliveries as per product / project specifications Be a liaison between Project Manager / Unit Product Management, quality, procurement & manufacturing teams to execute the development & verification of hardware product/project Carry out Innovation within Controls Should be able to contribute with regular updates for Controls project team meeting. Should be able to understand & adhere to product development processes & relevant documentation Should ensure process compliance & regulatory compliance Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering / Technology - Electronics Engineer or Equivalent with 5 years of experience as HW engineer SKILLS: Ability to learn hardware architecture design Circuit design- DC-DC Power Supply Design- SMPS based, EMI/EMC compliance based design, Motor/Compressor drives, communication interface design- UART,RS485,SPI,I2C etc Design documentation Component selection, BOMs and drawings Design evaluation and verification of PCBAs - operation checks power, signal,EMI/EMC etc Certification tests - standards know how, conduct, analysis, countermeasures Production line support - to stabilize mass pro of new product - ICT, FCT, others PCBA failure analysis , other quality related data & quality improvement Skills for EMI/EMC testing & its related countermeasures ; wiring harness design – cable type, sizing, termination ; E-box structure – thermal (heat sink) design will be preferred. VAVE activity Patents Proficient in Project management Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional, locational, and cultural teams. Strong communication & presentation skills to articulate views/thoughts with internal or external customers.

Responsibilities

The engineer will manage all aspects of assigned Controls projects, ensuring they meet specifications, budget, and timeline requirements. They will act as a liaison between cross-functional teams including quality, procurement, and manufacturing to execute hardware development and verification.
