About the Role We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, who you will work hands-on with PLC and HMI systems, supporting the full lifecycle - from software development and design to offshore commissioning and service activities. This is a practical, field-connected engineering role where your work directly impacts system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction across global projects. What We Offer * Real project ownership – from design to commissioning, with visible impact on operations * Global exposure – work on international projects with offshore and shipyard involvement * Technical depth – hands-on work with PLC/HMI systems and complex control environments * Experienced team environment – collaborate with highly skilled senior engineers and domain experts * Long-term career stability within a well-established global organization Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain PLC and HMI software for control systems * Create and update technical drawings and documentation for electrical control systems * Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities * Perform offshore and on-site service work * Collaborate with customers and subcontractors, ensuring technical alignment * Follow up on shipyard activities and system integration Qualifications & Skills Essential Qualifications: * Degree/educational background in relevant field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control, Mechatronics, or similar) * 5-10 years of experience with PLC and HMI systems * Ability to work in complex, problem-solving environments * Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders * Fluent in English (written and spoken) Desired Qualifications: * Experience with offshore or marine environments * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field * Background in commissioning or service engineering * Exposure to global project environments * Norwegian language is an advantage Soft Skills * Structured and analytical mindset * Solution-oriented approach to technical challenges * Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills * Ability to work independently in field environments Why Join Us?
