Job Description Supervise and evaluate the performance of structural and road inspectors, ensuring inspections comply with approved ITPs, RTA specifications, and international standards. Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists for structural and road-related works. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for bridges, underpasses, culverts, retaining walls, shoring systems, and ancillary highway structures. Coordinate and inspect foundation and substructure works including piling, pile caps, abutments, piers, and box culverts. Monitor progress of structural and road works, report status and risks to the Project Manager/Resident Engineer and provide technical input to the Planning Engineer regarding sequencing and recovery plans. Ensure compliance of road-related structural works including pavements, concrete barriers, crash barriers, sign gantries, and lighting foundations. Coordinate structural interfaces with roadworks, utilities, MEP services, drainage, and temporary works to avoid conflicts and rework. Liaise with the Design Team to resolve design queries, RFIs, and technical clarifications related to structural and road elements. Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed in a timely manner. Qualifications Master or Bachelors in structural Engineering Minimum 10 -16 years of experience working on RTA Projects in UAE RTA or DM approved candidates are preferred Additional Information 5 - 8 years of UAE experience is mandatory Review, verify, and maintain inspection records, test results, and documentation for as-built drawings and project close-out records. Support RTA inspections, audits, and final acceptance of completed works; review and approve as-built drawings and final handover documentation.
