Responsibilities
  • Lead development and execution of comprehensive test plans to evaluate audio quality and performance of new and existing products. This includes conducting manual and automated verification of objective audio performance and defining subjective listening studies.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks. Create novel tools to validate audio features and performance
  • Analyze test results using both objective metrics and subjective evaluation. Generate detailed test reports and documentation of test setups and results. Provide informed feedback to DSP developers and audio hardware engineers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams made up of product management, software engineer, DSP developers and acoustic engineering to define and review requirements. Work with outside customers to troubleshoot field issues.
  • Automate algorithm parameter tuning. Develop strategies for capturing, curating, and utilizing behavioral audio databases for machine learning and algorithm development.
  • Develop critical listening, subjective, and objective assessment of products in market and defining standards for achieving high quality products. Accurately document results and provide differential analyses to stakeholders
