We are seeking a skilled and dependable Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our property. In this role, the Engineer will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. This position requires a proactive, hands-on professional who takes pride in ensuring all hotel systems operate efficiently while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general maintenance practices, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational needs. Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Replace air conditioner filters. Tend, air conditioners, cooling towers and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. Maintain standards of quality guest service. Tend to pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, etc. Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Requirements Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations. Must have good mathematical and computer skills. High school education and relevant training and experience preferred. CPR training and first aid training preferred. Additional language ability preferred.
Responsibilities
The Engineer is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel. They also ensure guest satisfaction by resolving maintenance requests promptly and maintaining the safety and appearance of the property.
