Job Description PURPOSE Enterprise Field Operation Team plays a key role in supporting StarHub enterprise services and are responsible in link testing, installation, testing and maintaining equipment’s such as routers, switches, convertors and Telecommunication equipment’s for the enterprise services, The team is seeking enterprise professional with Telco experience to support StarHub Enterprise Customers as well Corporate users based in Singapore. MAJOR DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Installation & Commissioning: To support field activities both on-site & off-site, such as configuration & installation, equipment management, also submission of site access requests, assignment of orders to engineers or vendors.Liase with stakeholders (PM, AM, Teir3, vendors etc ) to support link testing & activation and ensure end-to-end connectivity.Configure routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, static routes) on routers as per network design.Conduct acceptance tests: RFC2544, BER tests, OTDR tests, signal level measurements, ping/trace testsValidation circuit design with test result to determine compliance with the design/contract specifications Document test results and sign off with customer/operations. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot service outages across transmission layers (L1/L2) and IP/MPLS layers (L3).Diagnose hardware faults in routers, switches, fiber, power units, and transmission nodes.Restore degraded links or alarms (LOS, LOF, AIS, low signal, link flap).Liase with NOC or vendor when required. Orders tracking & monitoring, Documentation & Reporting:Tracking of order closure & statusPrepare site reports, installation logs, maintenance checklists.Update CPE inventory records in system Record fault history and recommendations.Verification of vendor’s claims Projects & Special eventsTo support special events & participate in high-value projects extending new capabilities that focused on StarHub’s MPLS Infrastructure. Other matters assigned by supervisorsQualifications Candidates for this position should have an Degree/Diploma/ITE certification in at least one of the following subjects: Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering. Experience or qualifications in the following areas are required: · At least 1-2 years of experience in supporting enterprise network · Experience in configuring routers /firewall/switches/convertors· Ability in performing 24x7 standby duties· Possess a Class 3 driving Licenses · Strong communications skills with stakeholders at all levels · Basic soft skills in Microsoft office· Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
