You will be an integral part of our Technical team providing engineering and technical support throughout the whole lifecycle of all sites ensuring all opportunities for value engineering are identified and fulfilled. You will work as part of a matrix project team across the business to deliver sites to the agreed business standards and targets.
The successful candidate will have experience working as part of a technical team, preferably in a new house builder. You will be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and will be methodical in your approach to tasks. You will also be proficient in the use of AutoCad.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience of working as part of a technical team, preferably in a new house builder
· Methodical with high levels of attention to detail
· Ability to and experience of identifying potential risks to projects and identifying suitable solutions for mitigating
· Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
· Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
· Proficient in AutoCad

Responsibilities

· Manage and monitor the processes to identify, divert and procure utilities, duties will include; obtaining existing service records to identify positions and advise on potential capacity of existing infrastructure, identifying and managing risk associated with existing utility diversion requirements, obtaining quotes for disconnections and new connections
· Control of information for all engineering processes from appraisal to completion and close out in accordance with development programmes
· Ensure all technical information is issued effectively and on time to all internal and external stakeholders through the business document management tool
· Maintain Development Delivery Plans and attend relevant meetings, providing support to internal colleagues
· Provide support to Engineering Managers in carrying out their daily roles – submitting applications, following up on responses from external consultants and authorities etc
· Manage the effective completion and handover of sites; ensure technical approvals are progressed to agreement within required timescales, attend meetings with inspectors to walk completed sites to compile remedial lists and action to proceed to adoption, prepare as-built drawings to the relevant standards of the adopting authority
