"The primary responsibility of this role is to perform simulations of electrical products - switches/fuses/breakers/switchgear/UPS from MBD (Multi Body Dynamics and Static technology. Individual will be required to partner with local and global teams, understand the design intent, develop and validate simulation models to substantiate the engineering designs. Individual should have sound knowledge of Mechanical systems & Mechanics modelling techniques in ADAMS/ANSYS Workbench and allied software. Collaborates with technology and product teams to define problem statements Understands project requirements and solves problems in discussion with local as well as global stakeholders. Understand existing simulation modeling methodologies & assist to mature further Deploys developed simulation methodologies to strengthen “Analysis First” strategy on electrical products" "1. Develops simulation models for MBD/Vibration/Static CTQ to evaluate critical performance of electrical products. 2. Analyze,Interpret, summarize and communicate simulation results to global audience and provide technical and/or design recommendations.. 3. Delivers deep insights through simulations for robust product development to meet performance requirements/ CTQs for electrical products. 4. Coordinates with stakeholders to understand analysis requirements, create analysis approach & solve simple/medium complex problems 5. Understand & assist in maturing analysis capability of Structural technology domain for electrical productline. 6. Engage with product and test engineer to improve analysis models and validate analysis approach with test data. 7. Demonstrates CI mindset & indentify opportunities to automate repetative tasks. Participate in ES Americas level initiatives and contribute thru solid value add Learn DFSS fundamentals & impliment on the programs Embrace continuous improvement initiatives and demonstrate consistent increase in “value” from project deliverables Create valuable IP to expand innovation envelope for organization growth" Master's degree in Mechanical / Machine Design from reputed institute Thorough understanding of physics like Fatigue, Static, MBD, and Simulation tool expertise "Accountability - Takes complete responsibility of assigned tasks and delivers results despite of roadblocks Passion - Pursues everything with drive and motivates others around to contribute towards the cause Resourceful - Works across the boundaries to get the desired things done timely Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, Looks beyond the obvious solutions and comes up with creative/ innovative proposals Learner - Takes efforts to upskill self and shares the learnings with broader team proactively Transparency - Should create open and trusting environment in the team"
