Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sustainability Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable practices across our organization, driving environmental performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans aligned with organizational goals and environmental regulations Analyze and report on key sustainability metrics, including carbon footprint, energy consumption, and waste generation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design, manufacturing processes, and facility operations Manage sustainability-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets Research and evaluate emerging green technologies and best practices for potential implementation Prepare and deliver presentations on sustainability initiatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies and sustainability-focused organizations Provide technical expertise and guidance on sustainability matters to various departments within the company Stay up-to-date with evolving environmental regulations and industry standards, ensuring organizational compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability engineering or a related field Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools and methodologies Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards Expertise in energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent project management abilities Proficiency in data analysis and modeling software Strong communication and presentation skills Experience in implementing sustainable practices in industrial or corporate settings Understanding of sustainable development principles and practices Knowledge of green building design and construction Familiarity with life cycle assessment and carbon footprint analysis Professional certifications such as LEED AP, CEM, or WELL AP preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as required Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
