System Engineer Combat Management Systems (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Creation and maintenance of system definitions and technical specifications for combat management systems on naval vessels.
• Coordination of technical interfaces between combat management systems, internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintenance of technical documentation and system data in ERP and CAD systems, as well as creation of test and verification documents.
• Technical support for project teams in exchange with clients, classification societies and authorities

Requirements

• Completed studies in systems engineering, naval architecture, communications engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Experience in systems engineering or in the integration of complex technical systems, ideally in a maritime, defense or safety-critical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and ideally experience in dealing with public sector clients.
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2) or existing Ü2 clearance
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
