Requirements Duties: • Work on projects assigned by the Engineering Manager / Design Engineers. • Work on drafting projects including detail drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, using basic mathematical calculations. • Process engineering documentation required for product design and revision. • Interpret customer requirements for design applications using engineering tools, P.C., CAD System. • Check bills of material and original detail drawings for completeness, consistency, format and structure. • Modify and correct engineering documentation to correlate with current manufacturing and assembly methods. • Support continuing product improvement with drawing updates. • Perform other related duties as assigned • Develop and maintain engineering standards, support packaging development Work Experience/Educational Background: • Associate degree or working on an associate degree • Experience with CAD “Computer Aided Design” software • Experience in manufacturing, and assembly Qualification and Competencies: • SOLIDWORKS Design Software experience required. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Excellent verbal and written skills are a must. • The successful candidate will have the following personality traits: Likeable, Ambitious, Unselfish, Conscientious, Responsive, Detail Oriented and have Leadership skills. The Engineer Technician will execute projects assigned by Engineering Management, focusing on drafting detail drawings, assembly drawings, and schematics using basic calculations. Responsibilities also include processing engineering documentation, checking bills of material for consistency, and modifying documentation to align with current manufacturing methods.
