Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries!   www.lgenergymi.com [http://www.lgenergymi.com/]   Summary: As a utility engineer, you will provide mechanical or electrical expertise and cost effective solutions for multiple utility facility operating and construction projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements.    Responsibilities: * Preventive maintenance execution in order to complete all PM tasks * Troubleshoot the abrupt breakdown of utility facilities * Make and review technical document * Monitoring utility operation * Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost * Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard * Perform other duties as assigned * Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: * Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain * Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container * Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area         Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience   Experience: * 1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as a mechanical or electrical utility system engineer preferred   Skills: * Exposure in mechanical or electrical facilities setting, preferably in production facility * Experienced with the handling of Utility Facilities * Certifications with certificates on the mechanical or electrical engineering and certification of boiler operation & maintenance * Comfortable working independently and with others * Results-oriented and perseverant * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Project and process management skills * Strong attention to detail * Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve Engineers in the Mechanical Engineering Discipline strongly encouraged to apply!
