The Engineer V–CMM leads the development, validation, and maintenance of advanced dimensional inspection solutions supporting R&D, first article, and serial production. This role defines complete inspection strategies, creates and governs CMM programs, and ensures statistically capable measurement processes. It collaborates closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve gaps, drive corrective actions, and deliver accurate inspection data for production readiness and customer requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   * Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to define complete inspection and control plans. * Develop, validate, release, and maintain CMM programs from first article through serial production. * Support first-run measurements, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions with Process Engineering and Manufacturing. * Execute MSA activities (GR&R, repeatability, reproducibility) across the full measurement chain. * Perform correlation studies using alternative measurement methods when required. * Control CMM program versions and ensure configuration management. * Analyze inspection data and generate SPC, Cp/Cpk, and customer-required reports. * Approve inspection results for FA, FP, incoming, and final inspections prior to production release. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   * Expert-level GD&T knowledge and advanced drawing interpretation. * Strong expertise in dimensional inspection methods, precision measurement, and CMM programming. * Solid understanding of MSA, GR&R, and statistical quality concepts. * Proficiency with handheld measurement tools and machining/workmanship standards. * High computer literacy, including MS Office and data analysis tools. * Fluent in Hebrew and English. Educational/Certification: * Mechanical Engineering degree. * Advanced SolidWorks skills for modeling, drawings, and measurement support. * CMM programming experience (Mitutoyo / COSMOS required). * Advantage: SolidWorks Simulation, Minitab, Sylvac, Metrius, optical and advanced CMM systems. Experience & Additional Requirements: * Minimum 10 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment. * Strong hands-on CMM programming experience (Mitutoyo and/or Zeiss – advantage). * Ability to contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives. * Willingness to travel occasionally (including overnight) for training or technical meetings.
