Description The Engineering Admin is a highly organized professional who supports engineering documentation, supplier communication, project coordination, and operational visibility through dashboard monitoring. This role ensures accurate documentation flow, clear cross functional communication, and timely project execution. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate communication between Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and suppliers to support engineering and purchasing activities. Review, update, and create engineering documentation, including SolidWorks OP drawings and assembly work instructions. Manage RFQs, POs, and supplier quoting activities; track delivery schedules and expedite critical materials. Support engineering releases, ensure documentation accuracy, and assist with job launch readiness. Generate reports and maintain accurate data using Epicor (ERP) tools. Monitor engineering, procurement, and production dashboards; identify delays or risks and communicate required actions to stakeholders. Support project management activities including tracking deadlines, updating schedules, coordinating deliverables, and facilitating cross functional progress. Assist in prioritizing engineering tasks and documenting status updates for project reviews. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as documentation accuracy, on time project task completion, supplier response times, and order processing turnaround. Participate in process improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing workflows. Requirements Required: 2-5 years of experience in engineering support or technical administration SolidWorks experience (drawings, documentation updates) Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills Preferred: Experience tracking projects or managing task lists Familiarity with Epicor, Power BI or other dashboard tools PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting/Standing/Walking Approximately 75% is spent sitting at a desk, working on the telephone or at a computer terminal Approximately 25% is spent bending, squatting, standing, or moving about the work area Speaking/Hearing Ability to speak read and write English fluently Clear diction, correct grammar and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with clients, vendors, management, and other employees Vision Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computer screens, read reports and respond to correspondence and emails WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for an office environment, some level of interaction at the manufacturing floor level. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
