SUMMARY

Administrative and customer service position responsible for assisting in a variety of business areas including data entry, quoting services, managing status inquiries, job coordination, client communication, order fulfillment, and scanning.
In this role you will understand agency requirements to manage projects through the approval process as well as coordination with these same agencies and utility companies as necessary for permitting. Coordinates with in-house and outside professionals for planning board and zoning board submissions.
Reports To: Engineering Division Manager & Supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Technology – Basic computer skills; ability to learn new technologies; uses technology to increase accuracy and productivity. AutoCAD experience is beneficial. Microsoft required.
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance.
Cooperation - Offers assistance and support to co-workers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Three years related experience and/or training preferred.

Microsoft Office Suite.

Directly service clients by phone, via email, and in-person. This includes providing quotes, status updates, and answering general questions.
Update order information for job orders as needed.
Deliver proposal packages or coordinate delivery with couriers, when necessary to ensure timely submittals
Communicate with local, county, and state agencies during all phases of the approval process.
Monitor and respond to emails.
Performs tasks related to engineering projects.
Research, study, and document the filing requirements throughout New Jersey for various agencies.
Administrative lead for submissions to local, county, and state agencies.
Manage the progress of submittal packages through the approval process, document the status, and provide weekly updates to leadership.
Preparation of utility will serve letters.
Other duties may be assigned.
