Description

As an Engineering Administrator you will be required to support the Engineering department, reporting to the Engineering Manager and assisting in the smooth running of the factory, ensuring that the business needs and targets are always met.

Responsibilities
  • Help to manage and co-ordinate departmental paperwork/digital data including, PPM’s, work orders, etc
  • Create daily and weekly performance reports for use by engineering management, using Power BI, Excel, Word and other office applications.
  • Assist in the organisation, administration, and upkeep of the Stores
  • Help develop and issue Engineering SOP’s
  • Utilize Pirana, and Line view to isolate line performance issues.
  • Assist with Audit paperwork and division of work.
  • Liaise with engineering stores to ensure products are available to be delivered at correct times.
  • Manage weekly invoices to ensure all transactions are correct.
  • Update Pirana corrective actions and prepare weekly progress reports to drive progress.
  • To ensure engineering information is updated with weekly performance figures and top issues across the lines for all to see and eliminate.
  • Attend daily meetings and update the report with actions, liaise with Engineering Managers/Supervisors to ensure that actions are completed/progressed
  • Filing of all paperwork in correct files including general Administration and housekeeping whilst supporting other staff / departments as required.
  • To ensure that the time & attendance system is kept up to date daily.
  • To ensure the employee register is completed and copies emailed to manager / supervisor/ HR
  • Liaising with personnel with regards to new employee information and changes
  • Ensure contractor’s inductions and insurance details are up to date and in order
