Position Overview:  We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Engineering Analyst to conduct review and analysis of building and site designs, prepare financial models, assess construction feasibility, physical infrastructure, and other analytical based recommendations for development and stabilized real estate portfolio. Position requires travel up to 20% of work schedule at various unanticipated project locations throughout the United States based on business needs.  Key Responsibilities: * Conduct review and analysis of building and site designs, prepare financial models, assess construction feasibility, physical infrastructure, and other analytical based recommendations for development and stabilized real estate portfolio. * Review and analyze construction plans, drawings, and specifications for new development projects and existing properties and complete required analysis to determine technical feasibility and identify potential risks or restraint variables in the development process. * Conduct detailed assessments of site plans, civil infrastructure, and structural components of existing real estate properties for value add and expansion opportunities.  * Monitor, forecast, and report on stabilized real estate portfolio performance.  * Maintain and analyze technical and data relevant to real estate development operating partners, general contractors, lenders, and investment opportunities.  * Gather and review economic, demographic, and real estate market data on numerous US markets. * Participate in ongoing project oversight, including visiting project/development/construction sites and evaluating progress, structural quality, safety compliance, and leasing activity.  * Position requires travel up to 20% of work schedule at various unanticipated project locations throughout the United States based on business needs.    Minimum Requirements: * Minimum, a U.S. Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.  * Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.  * Experience in construction and real estate project management involving site and design evaluations. * Experience performing structural analysis and preparing design reports for structural projects. * Experience applying financial analysis tools such as NPV and IRR to valuation of real estate property and asset management. * The required experience may have been gained through employment or academic coursework and/or research studies.  Why Join Us: * Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a collaborative and supportive team. * Help shape quality, affordable housing that positively impacts communities. * Be part of a forward-thinking company committed to cutting-edge technology and innovative project delivery.
