Job Description
Mission: Lead the engineering and construction function in their specialty (civil or electrical) on a day-to-day basis, assigning priorities, supporting complex decision-making, and promoting continuous improvement in processes and tools, with the objective of optimizing resources and improving the department’s operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate construction activities, organizing daily work to meet project objectives in coordination with the project management team and contractors.
  • Develop and establish tools and procedures that standardize activities, optimizing the use of resources.
  • Optimize construction processes, identifying improvements in working methods and procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Support international office engineering and construction teams to ensure global alignment.
  • Support the project team in any activity required during the construction period related to the project design
  • Supervise support staff and subcontractors, managing resources and ensuring the entire team has the right training and motivation to meet the project objectives. Develop detailed construction schedules, identifying delays and proposing solutions to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure alignment on complex projects.
  • Oversee safety, including review and compilation of documentation, and assist with audits and inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering or similar

HABILITIES

  • Experience in the sector, preferably in energy projects.
  • Previous experience in team management
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and optimization
  • Effective communication skills
  • Team management

Languages

  • English Advanced
  • Spanish Preferred

Others

  • Deep technical knowledge in the energy sector and disciplines related to civil engineering.
  • Ability to interpret technical and financial results in large-scale projects.
