JOB OVERVIEW:

The Engineering Apprentice will initially support design and production teams as a CAD Operator, with a primary focus on SolidWorks-based drafting and documentation. Over time, the apprentice will transition into a Process Engineer role, gaining hands-on experience in process improvement, production support, and manufacturing engineering. This program is ideal for individuals seeking a structured path to a career in engineering within a manufacturing environment. Program outcomes center around gaining foundational experience in technical drawing and process engineering, receiving a mentorship from experienced engineers and manufacturing leaders, and consideration for transitioning into a full-time Process Engineer role upon successful completion of the program and based on performance and business needs.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Provide weekly training updates to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Participate in all continuous improvement initiatives and responsibilities within the department.
• Abide by all safety requirements in each area in which training is taking place.
• Complete other assignments as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
