The Engineering BMS (Building Management Systems) Order Taker will be responsible for receiving and processing orders for BMS products and services, ensuring accurate information is captured, and coordinating the fulfillment process. This position requires close interaction with clients, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of services and products related to BMS installations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process orders for BMS products and services, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure timely execution of BMS-related orders.
  • Maintain and update client records in the company’s order management system.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and other relevant documentation for BMS-related services.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to track product availability and lead times.
  • Follow up on orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues that arise during the order fulfillment process.
  • Provide technical support or clarification to clients as needed, in coordination with the engineering team.
  • Monitor inventory levels of BMS-related products and request replenishments when necessary.
  • Assist with the coordination of on-site assessments, installations, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to BMS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Management Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in order taking, customer service, or project coordination (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Building Management Systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and order management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
  • The position may require extended hours or on-call support during peak periods.
