EDUCATION:

  • A post-secondary diploma in mechanical engineering would be an asset. Practical CAD experience will be considered in place of a post-secondary school diploma.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 1 year of SolidWorks CAD experience

SKILLS:

  • Must have strong knowledge of SolidWorks, best practice modelling techniques.
  • CSWP certificate and Programming in SolidWorks would be an asset
  • Proficient in Excel
  • JIRA experience would be an asset
  • Must have excellent planning and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

OTHER DUTIES:

  • All ad-hoc projects such as:
  • Outsourcing (Prepare detailing packages for external design and upload to Upchain PLM)
  • Simulations (Complete technical simulations to assess and confirm robotic concepts, summarizing and communicating results to engineering teams)
  • Engineering Helpdesk (first line to support all external questions for engineering and direct as needed, respond to tickets in a timely manner)
