Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity available for an Engineering Checker who will be responsible for checking pipe spool fabrication drawings for content and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, perform work accurately and thoroughly, pay close attention to minute details of projects and tasks, remain organized, and follow systematic methods of performing tasks. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Familiarity with client project scope and specifications. Check pipe spool drawings used for fabrication by shop against client drawings, scope, and specifications for accuracy and manufacturability, mark-up errors, and re-check corrections made by drafter before being released to shop for fabrication. Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines. Understand shop methods used in the fabrication of pipe spools. REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: Experience: 3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field. Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Experience with AutoCad a plus WHY WORK FOR EPIC PIPING?
