Job Description Join our team as an Engineering Coordinator and play a key role in keeping hotel operations running smoothly. This part-time position supports the Engineering Department through coordination, communication, and administration to ensure maintenance requests, room readiness, and operational needs are handled efficiently and to the highest standards. What You’ll Do Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure rooms are guest-ready and meet brand standards. Monitor room status and maintenance issues, arranging urgent repairs as needed. Manage engineering work requests through the ENG system, ensuring timely follow-up and completion. Act as a key contact for the Engineering office, supporting internal teams and contractors. Maintain accurate records, including contractor documents, compliance certificates, and maintenance logs. Process invoices and assist with procurement, stock control, and inventory of engineering supplies. Support contractor coordination, preventative maintenance programs, and asset management. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and sustainability standards. Qualifications Previous administration or coordination experience (hotel or facilities environment highly regarded). Strong organisation and communication skills with great attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with multiple departments. Experience with maintenance or work-order systems (HotSOS or similar) is an advantage. A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.
