QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tesda certificate or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Mall, identify operating problems and takes appropriate action, monitor/record performance electro-mechanical equipment and produce report to Management/Area Engineer.
  • Ensure that all equipment and facilities (Air-conditioning System, Electrical System, Water Facilities, Sewage Treatment Plant/STP, Ventilating/Kitchen Exhaust Fans, Generator Set System, Fire Protection System and others) are in good working condition by conducting regular inspection and monitoring. Implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective maintenance.
  • Conduct regular routinely inspection of mall and building equipment. Run equipment and performance test, inspect new equipment to ensure adherence to Engineering standards and conduct safety audits.
  • Implement energy & water-conservation and cost-saving measures while monitoring utilities consumption. Ensure all common area utility consumptions are properly monitored and within budget. Recommend and implement cost-cutting measures.
  • In-charge in supervising monthly data gathering for power and water consumption of mall equipment and tenants.
  • Prepares Engineering Service and Materials request for the Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of equipment. Track and communicate work request status and completion.
  • Diagnose break-down problems, ensure proper documentation and turn-over of defective equipment. (Keeps and maintains records of statistical data with regards to engineering activities like history of all equipment including its specifications)
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing regular Fire/Earthquake Drill. Monitor all safety programs to prevent exposure and decrease liability for the property.
  • Assist mall management in providing safety and security to the mall employees, tenants and customers.
  • Conduct daily coordination meeting with security, maintenance and janitorial personnel
  • Involve in preparation and delivery of presentations and technical briefings, testing, verification and validation processes as well as scheduling and as-built documentation.
    Electrical Designed Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop electrical design systems such as power distribution, fire alarms, FDAS, lighting, etc.
  • Developing electrical systems, layouts and calculation.
  • Calculate electrical load, balancing, lumens, etc.
  • Prepare design specifications, BOM/BOQ.
  • Prepare electrical design analysis.
  • Respond to contractor RFA/RFI.

    Elevator / Escalator Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares working schedule specifying the date of commencement and completion of a particular installation project subject to the review and approval of the Engineering Department Head
  • Coordinates with the immediate superior regarding the exact date of arrival of equipment at the job-site
  • Checks site condition of the projects assigned to him for all the necessary coordination of Elevator/Escalator requirement prior to the installation work
  • Coordinates with General Contractor’s representative for any problem at the job-site
  • Reports immediately to superior any problem encountered at the job-site and all job-site accidents in connection with the installation work
  • Checks every phase of the installation work seeing to it that technical specifications and guidelines are complied with
  • Prepares and submits reports required such as Weekly Progress Report, Job-Site Daily Inspection Report, and others
  • Implements control and upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment used at the job-site
