We are looking for a Engineering Design Manager to oversee design projects from concept to completion, manage the drafting team, and ensure designs meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines. WE OFFER A FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE FOR BENEFITS ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance 401(K) with company match beginning with your first contribution HSA and/or FSA, as applicable Paid Time Off and Company Paid Holidays Employee Car Discount Program ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to manage a team and delegate work Review existing designs to improve reliability and reduce manufacturing time Develop, implement, and maintain engineering drawing standards Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and documentation control to maintain ISO certification Plan and manage engineering projects, including scheduling and resource allocation Provide technical engineering design assistance Provide training support for engineering and drafting team Maintain existing integration of BOM from 3D CAD software to ERP software Collaborate with procurement and production teams Communicate, develop, and source products with outside vendors Perform data analysis and reporting using Google Sheets and/or Excel Other duties as assigned. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires frequent standing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods. Ability to communicate by providing verbal/written feedback in a professional manner. Normal range of hearing and vision. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Experience working in a ISO 9001 certified production facility preferred Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault and NetSuite preferred Experience with Bill of Materials preferred Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-entity environment. Strong analytical skills. Strong organization skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. #STE
