Jaylor Fabricating Inc. is looking for a Engineering Designer to join our team.

WHAT WE DO:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma
  • 3D CAD experience, preferably Inventor
  • Experience with ERP software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is mandatory
  • Experience in metal fabrication, mechanical systems, design
  • Ability to work with little supervision, highly motivated
  • Ability to be “hands on” to demonstrate processes using tools and large equipment.
  • Agriculture background an asset
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Love to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Show up to work each day ready to work hard and enjoy your day.
  • Drafting and maintaining engineering drawings, product designs, CAD files, Bill of Materials, etc. are maintained to the latest requirements and specification
  • Assisting in new product development and related documentation
  • Completing engineering RFCs and issuing ECNs.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
  • Work with suppliers and subcontractors to source and supply components for production
  • Complete designs and modifications for custom machine requests from customers.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday
