Employment Type: W2 Contractor (12-Month Contract – Through August 2027)

Join the team supporting Johnson & Johnson’s exciting site build in Wilson, NC. As an Engineering Document Technical Reviewer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all engineering documentation as part of a major new facility construction project.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

You’ll be responsible for the technical review and approval of engineering documents across multiple disciplines — mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control, civil, structural, and architectural. Your work will ensure seamless turnover of packages and contribute directly to the timely Mechanical Completion (Green Tag) and Commissioning & Qualification (Blue Tag) of the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and approve vendor and trade turnover packages (VTOPs, TTOPs), drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Ensure all documents are technically sound, compliant, and submitted according to project milestones.
  • Track documentation progress using KPIs and dashboards; present bi-weekly updates.
  • Work with electronic documentation tools and manage uploads to Meridian and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Automation, C&Q, Maintenance) and external vendors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Monitor and expedite document approvals to avoid bottlenecks and support project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of documentation status and issues through trackers and digital tools.
