Description:
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
- Typically requires a university degree unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point and Excel
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to read and understand technical processes
- Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing process
- Practice experience working with the shared support of engineering, operations, records, and drafting
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience/knowledge in SAP, TEAMCENTER, PLM, Configuration Management / Data Management, SharePoint
Responsibilities:
POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Join Collins Aerospace as an entry level Engineering Documentation Administrator to support the Engineering function under the Power and Controls organization. In this role you will work, collaboratively, with other Engineering disciplines, Programs, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to develop an integrated execution plan and satisfy documentation requirements across applicable operating conditions.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Coordinate ESMs (Engineering Systems Manuals) and standards release ballots.
- Distribute and obtain ballot approval from Engineering targeted disciplines, SMEs, Chiefs, P&C Standard work owners and fellows.
- Track ballots approval to ensure response is received prior due dates.
- Collect, consolidate and implement comments from approvers in documents.
- Confirm comments were reviewed/incorporated when document comes back for final ballot.
- Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures governing the engineering programs.
- Support internal/ external meetings to share status, metrics, technical information, gather concurrence on changes, etc.
- Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and by priority.
- Support audits and resulting corrective actions.
