REQUIREMENTS:

An Electronics Engineering Technician 2 year diploma and/or 2+ years experience in electrical harness design/manufacturing, is recommended but not mandatory. Also, CAD experience, basic knowledge of CAD software and Microsoft Office, excel and word. Must be able to prioritize, have good time management skills, good communication both written and verbal and work well as a team or independently.

· Design and innovation of automotive electrical systems including wire harness and electrical distribution panels
· Integration of electrical systems with automotive chassis electrical systems; CAN bus protocol, telecommunications, multiplexing systems and components.
· Creating engineering drawings via CAD
· Responsible for programming hardware for installation in vehicles
· Required to prepare WI’s, change logs and check lists
· Responsible for drawing returns and some revision changes
· Act as resource for internal and external to add supplemental data when and where needed.
· Participate in Engineering related meetings
· Other Engineering duties as required in the department such as; filing of engineering documents, engineering initiatives and some clerical duties.
