Hourly Compensation: $27.50           (This is a set hourly wage. Directly respond to guest/employee engineering needs.  Individual will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's indoor and outside walls, conducting walks throughout the property, identifying damages that need to be addressed and repaired. JOB DUTIES:  * Be able to communicate effectively to all guests and other departments * Help in training new crewmembers to meet department responsibilities  * Respond all incoming calls, guest requests, and radio calls professionally, efficiently and in a timely manner * Assist with performing inspections, preventative maintenance schedules and repairs * Complete duty engineer daily task sheet, and perform preventative maintenance as-assigned  * Assist in performing inventories, ordering, and stock control * Follow proper procedures in returning all shop tools, ladders and test equipment to its proper area * Follow future and established elevator policy * Follow proper electrical safety lock-out-tag-out procedures * Maintain cleanliness of all engineering spaces * Maintain a proper engineering and turnover log * Assist in maintaining reports and documents * Follow guidelines presented in the employee handout book * Attend engineering departmental meetings as scheduled * Perform other tasks as requested QUALIFICATIONS:  * High School or equivalent  * Two (2) years of training, or equal experience in one of the trades  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Hospitality-related field a BIG plus! * Multi-lingual a BIG plus! What languages?
