Job Description About the Role: Manages geological work around the process of acquiring, analyzing and interpreting geological data in order to provide accurate and customized services to clients. Provides geological advice in multiple specialized technical disciplines and develops solutions to clients by putting acquired geological data into context. Key Responsibilities Lead geological project preparation by reviewing requirements, planning techniques, and preparing method statements and quality plans. Oversee project execution, ensuring technical quality, coordinating with engineering, operations, laboratory, commercial, and consulting teams, and managing on‑site geological activities. Review, approve, and guide field testing activities, including in‑situ tests, borehole logs, and equipment maintenance. Mentor and support field geologists and geologists. Conduct geological and engineering assessments, including structural geology, geohazard evaluation, and geomorphological mapping. Prepare and review reports, laboratory programs, engineering analyses, and client submissions. Ensure client delivery through proper QA/QC of site, laboratory, and office data. Manage small to mid‑size projects, including coordination, client meetings, progress tracking, and invoicing. Maintain updated technical reference materials and stay current with industry standards and technologies. Ensure compliance with QHSSE policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering or Geology. 3–8 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology. Hands‑on experience in geotechnical site investigations, laboratory testing, and derivation of geotechnical parameters. Strong understanding of soil mechanics and familiarity with rock mechanics. Experience performing basic foundation calculations and foundation testing. Preferred: Strong experience in field geological mapping, reporting, and associated data analysis.
