Our client, a well-established and professional geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Exeter. With a successful track record in providing high-quality technical advice and solutions across various sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding company. The role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects for public and private sector clients, expanding your expertise in ground investigations and geotechnical analysis. The position will involve a mix of site-based supervision of geotechnical investigations, alongside office-based tasks for analysis and reporting. Projects are primarily based in Southern England, with a focus on the South West and South Coast. ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST / GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is advantageous).
• SSSTS & CSCS qualification and relevant health and safety training.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical/engineering geology roles.
• A strong desire to pursue CPD and work towards professional chartership (CGeol, CEng, CSci).
• Basic IT, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise effectively with clients.
