The State Water Resources Control Board’s Los Angeles Region has an opening for an Engineering Geologist in the Land Disposal Unit and Wastewater Consolidation Unit. The position location is 320 W. 4th Street, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90013, in the heart of downtown near multiple lines of public transportation, great restaurants, and more.
Duties: The incumbent performs complex engineering geologist assignments associated with waste management units including landfills, land treatment units, surface impoundments, and compost facilities.

SALARY INFORMATION – CALHR SALARY RULES ALLOW APPOINTMENT AT THE ENTRANCE RATE (CAL. CODE REGS., TIT. 2, § 599.673) OF A CLASSIFICATION. FOR CLASSES WITH ALTERNATE RANGES, PLACEMENT IS BASED ON EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.
