We have the largest portfolio in the industry and can meet the highest load testing standards with our intelligent SIGMA load bank control system.   POSITION SUMMARY: The Engineering Intern at Avtron Power Solutions will support the Cx Automation team in the evaluation and development of electrical systems used for testing three-phase power equipment. This hands-on internship provides exposure to digital design, system testing, and customer-centered engineering solutions. The role will assist in developing automation tools and testing procedures that contribute to product innovation and field commissioning support. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Essential Functions: * Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of electrical components and systems used in three-phase power applications. * Support the development and documentation of testing procedures and methods for new and existing products. * Participate in data collection, calibration, and analysis activities to confirm system and component capabilities. * Collaborate with engineers to refine equipment designs and improve testing workflows. * Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and engineering reports. * Engage with internal teams and, when appropriate, observe customer interactions to better understand application needs and feedback.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Basic knowledge of three-phase power systems and electrical testing principles. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:  Education: * Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in process.     Skills * Coursework or project experience in power systems, automation, or electrical testing. * Familiarity with lab instrumentation and software (oscilloscopes, multimeters, PLCs, etc.). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CAD or circuit design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, LTspice, or similar). Experience * Gain hands-on experience in industrial power system testing and design. * Develop technical documentation and testing protocols. * Learn to apply customer feedback in real-world engineering development. * Enhance communication and collaboration within a professional engineering team.
