Description Chandler Industries - Montevideo is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer! This hands-on internship provides an opportunity to work alongside our Engineering and Operations teams and contribute to meaningful projects that support precision machining and manufacturing operations. The intern will assist with several operational improvement projects, including: • Standardizing and updating Work Instructions. • Evaluating and updating machine fixturing and CMM fixturing. • Reviewing and updating machining processes. • 5S machining workspace organization. This role offers valuable exposure to precision manufacturing, CNC machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while gaining real-world engineering experience Requirements Qualifications • Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, or Quality Engineering • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Details • Location: Montevideo, MN • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday • Class Level: Completion of Sophmore year and up

Responsibilities

The intern will assist the Engineering and Operations teams with operational improvement projects, including updating work instructions and machining processes. They will also be responsible for evaluating machine fixturing and maintaining 5S workspace organization.
