Job Details Job Location: Gosiger Dayton - Dayton, OH 45402 The Engineering Summer Intern will contribute to a fast-paced and growing team responsible for the design, development, testing of CNC Machine Tool processes. The incumbent will learn and contribute to the Engineered Systems Division Team. The intern will perform tasks independently while working closely with individual members to ensure objectives and tasks are met. Incumbent will learn and activily participate in all safety requirements while working with CNC Machine Tools. This position is considered a Safety Sensitive position. ESD Summer Intern responsibilities and accountabilities: SmartSheet related tasks Creating/maintain reports/dashboards Stratasys Helping with entering new opportunities into Salesforce Maintain inventory for consumable material, order when needed 3D printing assistance Benchmarking, fixing-correcting models to print SolidWorks; tasks depend on current skill level and aptitude to learn new tasks Simple layout work Interference validations Simulations Tool drawings Engineering documentation Project documentation Standard documentation templates (creation of) Pictures/videos General support needs Help with run-off’s and gauging Shop organization Machine set-up (with assistance) Qualifications Office & manufacturing work environment which includes; moving mechanical machine parts, potentially loud equipment, with exposure to a variety of non-hazardous and hazardous chemicals and airborne particles. Hands on work with machine tool equipment. May Lift up to 50 lbs. based on tooling and accessories while process engineering and gauging. Standing for extended periods of time at Machine while programming, operating, run-off’s. Extended Computer Monitor viewing and data entry. Internal/external customer communications with vendor contact.
Responsibilities
