We are dedicated to providing reliable, quality, energy-efficient equipment for all new construction, replacement and retrofit projects. Position Overview: This is a temporary, full-time non-exempt Internship providing opportunity to work alongside engineers on real-world problems and experience real-world engineering challenges. We work as a tightly knit team in a fast-paced environment where everyone is expected to wear multiple hats. This can require deep diving into engineering theories one day and traveling to job sites the next with hands on diagnostics and debugging. Successful candidates must be a people person and comfortable working with various internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: · Design and develop HVAC products with full supervision of mentor/manager · Setup and test various prototypes, and field units · Collect and analyze quality related data · Work with offshore engineering teams · Work with sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, supply-chain and other departments · Generate reports for both internal and external customers. Requirements Qualifications: · Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field · Team player Required Skills · SolidWorks or similar CAD experience · Demonstrates enthusiasm and initiative to take on expanding growth opportunities, thrives on challenges, and performs well under pressure · Structured and organized mindset · Excellent professional communication skills Preferred Skills: · Ability to work with minimal supervision · High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. · Knowledge of electronic controls · Knowledge of one or more programming language
Responsibilities
The intern will assist in designing and developing HVAC products while setting up and testing prototypes. They will also collaborate with cross-functional departments and offshore teams to collect data and generate reports.
